elasticsearch - Is the Logstash "agent" command-line argument necessary? Deprecated? -

in logstash, agent command-line argument anything? deprecated? don't find documentation , adding or removing doesn't seem make difference in (simple) cases i've tested.

i think argument nothing, because not anymore in documentation
