starting 36 hours ago (aug 18th) i've noticed huge spike in number of exceptions caused new exception google play services:

few observations:

  • noticed issue in 1 app, not in others.
  • no change made in app 7 days prior issue.
  • both android 4 & 5, across multiple vendors. no android 2.3.
  • google play services sdk 7.5. looks appears in previous versions (6.x).
